OUR STORY

Most wildlife management businesses started as shooting operations that bolted ecology on later. WILDFORCE was built differently — from the ground up, with science at the centre. Our founder came up through gamekeeping, then studied Wildlife Ecology, because he knew that without a genuine understanding of an ecosystem, you're not managing land — you're just reacting to it. That conviction hasn't changed. Every project we take on is ecologist-led, evidence-based, and built around one simple principle: do what's right for the land, not what's easy.

The problems we solve are real. Deer overgrazing young woodland. Invasive species outcompeting native habitat. Agricultural land losing productivity year on year. These aren't abstract ecological concerns — they cost landowners time, money, and biodiversity they can't get back. WILDFORCE exists to stop that. Our work is science-led, site-specific, and built for the long term — because anything less isn't good enough.

MEET THE TEAM

George didn't found WILDFORCE to run just another wildlife management company. He founded it because he believed the work deserved to be done properly — led by science, grounded in real fieldcraft, and guided by a genuine commitment to ecological balance. With a BSc (Hons) in Wildlife Ecology, an Extended Technical Diploma in Land and Wildlife Management, and specialist qualifications including DSC 1 & 2 and DMQ Wild Boar, he has the credentials to back that belief. As a specialist in deer and invasive fauna, George brings both the knowledge and the conviction that effective land management has to serve biodiversity and the people who depend on it — not one at the expense of the other.

Ian holds an Extended Technical Diploma in Land and Wildlife Management, alongside specialist qualifications including DSC 1 & 2 and DMQ Wild Boar. With strong practical expertise and a deep understanding of wildlife management, Ian plays a key role in delivering WILDFORCE’s projects to the highest professional standard. He has particular experience in deer and invasive fauna management, applying evidence-based methods to achieve effective, sustainable outcomes. Ian is driven by values of responsibility, professionalism, and ecological balance, ensuring that WILDFORCE’s work supports both healthy ecosystems and the communities that rely on them.

Some team members have qualifications. Kobi has something better — instinct. Our German Shorthaired Pointer is a specialist in deer tracking, with a nose and a drive that make him an essential part of how WILDFORCE operates in the field. Every good team has a secret weapon. Ours has four legs.

What Sets WILDFORCE Apart

There are plenty of wildlife management companies in the UK. Few are built the way we are.

Ecologist-Led Wildlife Management Every project is designed and delivered by qualified ecologists with deep, field-tested expertise in deer management, invasive species control, and habitat restoration across the South West and beyond.

No Trophy Hunting. No Guided Stalking. We are not a shooting operation. We reject the exploitation of wildlife for sport — full stop. Our work exists to serve ecological health, not recreational interests.

Ethical & Humane Wildlife Control From deer management to invasive species removal, every method we use is chosen with animal welfare in mind. We avoid unnecessary harm and apply the least invasive approach that achieves lasting results.

Science Before Sentiment Effective land management requires evidence, not guesswork. Our recommendations are built on ecological surveys, population data, and proven methodology — giving landowners solutions that hold up over the long term.

Partnership & Integrity We work alongside landowners, farmers, conservation groups, and local authorities — balancing biodiversity goals, land productivity, and full compliance with UK wildlife legislation.

WILDFORCE LTD — Ecologist-Led Land Management, Built for the Long Term

Every woodland, field, and hedgerow we help protect is a step toward a healthier, more resilient British countryside. Whether you're managing deer pressure on agricultural land, dealing with invasive species, or looking to restore native habitat — if you're serious about doing it properly, we'd be proud to work alongside you.

Our Commitment to Ethical, Science-Led Wildlife Management

Deer damage to woodland and crops. Wild boar causing destruction to agricultural land. Invasive species — Japanese knotweed, grey squirrels, American mink — undermining native habitats. These are the challenges WILDFORCE was built to solve.

We work with landowners, farmers, conservation organisations, and local authorities across the South West and the wider UK — delivering ecological surveys, wildlife management plans, and on-the-ground control that produces measurable, lasting results.

Our commitment is simple: science before shortcuts, ethics before convenience, and your land's long-term health above everything else. We are not a hunting business. We don't offer trophy hunting or guided stalking. We offer something more valuable — expertise you can trust, and management that genuinely works.

Our Approach — Wildlife Management That Works With Nature, Not Against It

Science-Led & Ethical Wildlife Management Every decision we make is rooted in robust ecological science and carried out through humane, responsible practices. We are here to protect land and wildlife — not exploit them. That distinction matters, and it shapes everything we do.

Specialist Deer Management Across the UK Deer are a natural and valued part of Britain's landscape. But unchecked populations cause serious damage — stripping young woodland, devastating crops, and destabilising habitats. WILDFORCE provides evidence-based deer population monitoring, impact assessments, and tailored management programmes across the South West and wider UK, always with full regard for deer welfare and the health of the wider ecosystem.

Responsible Wild Boar Management The return of wild boar to British countryside brings genuine ecological value — and genuine challenges. Our ecologists combine detailed field surveys, species behavioural knowledge, and humane control methods to reduce agricultural and habitat damage, protect biodiversity, and manage safety risks, without losing sight of the species' ecological role.

Tailored, Site-Specific Management Plans No two sites are the same, and no two management plans should be either. Every WILDFORCE project begins with a thorough ecological survey of your land. From there, we build a bespoke management plan shaped around your specific priorities, your land's condition, and full compliance with UK wildlife legislation.

Biodiversity & Native Habitat Protection We protect what belongs here. From red squirrels and woodland flora to native grassland and wetland habitats, our work is focused on strengthening what's natural while controlling what isn't — including invasive species such as grey squirrels, American mink, and Japanese knotweed that pose serious threats to native biodiversity.

Humane, Sustainable Land Management We minimise harm, reduce chemical intervention, and prioritise approaches that protect both wildlife and the broader environment. Sustainability isn't a selling point for us — it's the standard every project is held to, from initial survey through to long-term monitoring.

Proven Excellence — Recognised at Regional and National Level

WILDFORCE has been recognised across the environmental management, conservation, and rural services sectors — with awards and nominations that reflect the standard we hold ourselves to on every project.

2024 Bridport Business Awards — WINNER 2024 West Dorset Business Awards — WINNER 2024 Dorchester Business Awards — RUNNER-UP Schöffel & GWCT Awards — SHORTLISTED, 2 Categories The Great British Shooting Show Awards — SHORTLISTED

These aren't just accolades. They're evidence — that our approach to ecological consultancy, sustainable land management, and biodiversity protection is being recognised as among the best in the country. We're proud of them. But we're more proud of the land we've helped restore.

Why Work With WILDFORCE

Choosing the right wildlife and habitat management partner isn't a small decision. Get it wrong and you end up with land that's no better off — or worse, managed by people whose interests don't align with yours. Get it right and you have a long-term partner who knows your land, understands the science, and delivers results you can see.

Here's what working with WILDFORCE actually means:

Ecologist-Led From Start to Finish Every project is designed and delivered by qualified ecologists — not contractors, not generalists. People with a genuine, field-tested understanding of UK ecosystems, wildlife legislation, and conservation priorities.

Ethical, Not Exploitative We don't offer trophy hunting. We don't offer guided stalking. Our work is driven entirely by ecological need — never by sport, recreation, or profit. That's not a marketing line. It's a line we don't cross.

Tailored to Your Land Your land has its own history, pressures, and potential. We don't apply templates. Every project begins with a detailed ecological assessment and results in a bespoke management plan built specifically around your site, your priorities, and your goals.

Humane, Sustainable Methods We minimise harm at every stage — reducing chemical intervention, avoiding unnecessary disturbance, and always choosing the most sustainable approach that achieves lasting results. For the land, and for the wildlife on it.

Evidence-Based, Legally Sound Our recommendations are transparent, scientifically grounded, and fully aligned with UK environmental and wildlife legislation. You get confidence in the quality of the work and confidence in your compliance.

A Partnership, Not a Transaction We don't show up, do the job, and disappear. We work alongside you — understanding your land over time, keeping you informed at every stage, and treating your property with the same care we'd give our own.
